SCAD, along with Jedi Masters and fellow artists/fans. missed the fam that couldn't make it; Andrew, Shawn, Mikey and especially Jim Royal. taking smoke breaks with Jason Pearson and James O'Barr is absolutely surreal. so were Rico's Kickstand Kids sneakers.

this is for a sketchbook of 70's soul singers as DC superheroes; was so difficult to whittle that list down to Ms. Khan, and i grew up with her 80's tunes, and this isn't what it could've been, but....anyways.

a print we were selling at the show, drawn at 2.5 inches (not realizing all those flowers would look so....flowery), inked at 4.75 inches twice and then married together, plus another inked layer of shadows and clouds with a crusty brush, scanned at 1600 dpi (if i remember that right) on the fancy Upper Deck machines, file sized 3.8 X 5.2 1500 dpi, can print clean at just under 4 feet. messin around.
